#1. Keep your air conditioner maintained.
If you don’t properly maintain your air conditioner, there’s no way that it can effectively keep you cool. Regular maintenance allows our experts to fix minor issues with your air conditioner that could be causing it to work less efficiently than it should. Maintenance will also help you save money because it prevents you from needing expensive repairs in the future.
#2. Plant trees around your home.
A little shade can go a long way in keeping you cool, so if you don’t have many trees around your home, plant some! Just make sure that the trees aren’t so close to your home that rogue branches damage your roof.
#3. Reseal windows and doors.
If there are cracks around your windows and doors, it can allow the heat from outside to sneak into your home. Recaulk or reseal the doors and windows in your home to prevent cold air from leaking out.
